Description:
The Department of Prosthodontics at NYU Dentistry is currently seeking a highly motivated candidate with Dental Laboratory Technology experience for a part-time (Adjunct) position. This part-time faculty interacts with the predoctoral DDS and/or the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics students. This position requires a minimum of one day to 2.5 days of time commitment per week. As the third oldest and the largest dental school in the United States, NYU Dentistry educates nearly 10 percent of our nation's dentists and endeavors through its faculty, students, and alumni to improve the health of the highly diverse populations in New York City and around the world. In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is $12K-$45K. Qualifications:
Candidates must be a Certified Dental Technician (CDT). Knowledge of prosthodontics laboratory and digital procedures, evidence of previous teaching experience (Academia or industry), as well as laboratory management, are required. The successful applicant will join a department committed to the highest quality educational programs and a broad spectrum of patient care using digital technology for optimal patient care efficiency. Extensive experience with the use and application of digital dentistry, software designs, and manufacturing of prostheses as related to Prosthodontics and dental prostheses fabrication is highly desirable.
