The opportunity:
Our client is expanding rapidly and is seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Asset Management to oversee the performance, planning, and long-term value creation of its asset portfolio. This leader will work closely with executive leadership, operations, finance, acquisitions/development, and outside partners to maximize returns, identify risks and opportunities, and establish scalable asset-management processes as the organization grows.
What you’ll do:
Lead asset-management strategy across a growing portfolio, with responsibility for performance, operating plans, budgets, and long-term value creation.
Analyze financial and operational results, identify trends, and develop action plans to improve revenue, profitability, utilization, and asset value.
Partner with operations and site-level leadership to drive execution against business plans and key performance targets.
Develop annual budgets, forecasts, capital plans, and asset-level business plans.
Evaluate capital expenditures, improvement initiatives, leasing/pricing strategies, and other investment decisions.
Prepare and present portfolio-performance reporting, recommendations, and strategic insights to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing asset-management team as the business scales.
Collaborate with finance, accounting, legal, acquisitions, development, and third-party vendors to support portfolio objectives.
Identify operational, financial, and market risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
Help create the processes, reporting discipline, and operating cadence needed for continued growth.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.8+ years of progressive experience in asset management, portfolio management, real estate, investments, finance, operations, or a related field.
- Prior leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong financial-analysis skills, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, ROI analysis, and business-plan development.
- Proven ability to translate data into clear recommendations and execute improvement plans.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Excellent executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Strategic mindset with a willingness to stay close to the details and drive results.
- Why this role
- Join a top, rapidly growing company at an important stage of expansion.
- Make a visible impact on strategy, financial performance, and long-term enterprise value.
- Work directly with senior leadership and help shape a scalable asset-management function.
- Lead meaningful initiatives rather than simply maintain existing processes.
- Competitive compensation package, bonus potential, and strong long-term growth opportunity.
- If you are a commercially minded asset-management leader who enjoys building, improving, and driving performance, we would welcome a confidential conversation.
- To apply or learn more, please message me directly or submit your resume.
