Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

LocumJobsOnline is seeking a Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia coverage in Syracuse, NY. In this locum tenens role, you will deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care for a variety of surgical and procedural cases, including pre-anesthesia evaluations, intraoperative management, and post-anesthesia recovery. Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff in a hospital setting. Ideal candidates are experienced, adaptable CRNAs comfortable with independent practice, emergency response, and EHR documentation, seeking flexible, well-supported locum assignments. Provide safe anesthesia care for a variety of surgical and procedural cases Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia plans Perform induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Manage airways, including intubation and ventilator support Monitor vital signs and patient status throughout procedures Provide post-anesthesia care and manage recovery and pain control Respond to intraoperative and perioperative emergencies Document all care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative teams Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements General anesthesia administration Regional and neuraxial anesthesia Pre-anesthesia patient assessment Airway management and intubation Intraoperative patient monitoring Post-anesthesia care and recovery Emergency response and resuscitation Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Medication dosing and pharmacology of anesthetics Collaboration with surgeons and OR teams Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current RN license in NY Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification BLS certification ACLS certification PALS preferred DEA registration if required by facility
