We are currently under mandate from a leading international firm that is expanding its financial restructuring practice in New York. They require a 3rd to 7th year* associate to join a group that has added several partners this year and is busy across both in-court and out-of-court work. The practice has a long-standing reputation on the creditor side, acting for official and ad hoc committees, bondholders and distressed investors. It is now building out its debtor and borrower-side offering. The work covers:chapter 11 casesout-of-court restructurings and liability management transactionsDIP and exit financingsbankruptcy litigationcross-border matters, including Chapter 15 and a strong flow of Latin American work You would be working closely with partners who run their own matters, at a point where the team is growing and there is real room to take on responsibility. About you:
