Production Operators perform light to medium manufacturing work in a fast-paced production environment. Employees may work in punch press, molding, adhesive/shear operations, assembly, finishing, inspection, overtender, or washer feeder areas. Work is primarily performed in a standing position and involves loading and unloading parts, inspecting products for quality, completing production documentation, and following safety procedures. Available Shifts1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all shop cards, HF-015 procedures, VSW instructions, and safety guidelines
- Operate punch presses and other production equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload parts and materials from presses and assembly equipment
- Use air or suction tools when required
- Apply adhesive and assemble components as needed
- Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Identify and separate defective or nonconforming products
- Complete required production paperwork throughout the shift
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including 5S activities
- Assist in other production areas as assigned Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, load, and move parts throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred, but not required NEIND1
