Athletic Retail Store Manager

Goodmiles Running Company in Brookfield is looking for a full-time Store Manager to lead our team, grow our business, and create an exceptional experience for every customer who walks through our doors. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced retail manager who enjoys developing people, driving sales, and being part of the action. You'll lead a small team of Fit Experts, work directly with customers on the sales floor, oversee the day-to-day operation of the store, and help Goodmiles build strong connections throughout the local running and fitness community. You don't need to be a marathon runner or a footwear expert-we can teach you the shoes. We're looking for someone who knows retail, enjoys leading people, and is excited to build something great with their team.

At Goodmiles, you'll lead by example on the sales floor, helping customers find the right shoes and gear while coaching your team to do the same. You'll: Lead customers through personalized shoe fittings Recommend footwear, insoles, apparel, and accessories based on individual needs Build your expertise in footwear, fit technology, and our brands Monitor store and individual sales performance Coach your team around sales goals, conversion, and customer experience Look for opportunities to improve performance and grow the business Your own performance matters-but as Store Manager, your biggest impact comes from helping your entire team succeed. Keep the Store Running You'll take ownership of the day-to-day details that create a great retail experience, including: Employee scheduling and store coverage Opening and closing proceduresPOS and cash-handling processes Merchandising and store presentation Inventory organization Maintaining a clean, welcoming, and well-run store Communicating and partnering with our corporate team We're looking for someone who is comfortable making decisions, solving problems, and keeping things moving.
