Apply for this role →Description:
Fermi America is developing Project Matador, a ~17 GW private power generation and data center campus Texas, built to meet the surging energy demands of AI compute infrastructure and one of the largest most ambitious energy projects in the world.. The campus integrates natural gas, nuclear, and solar generation at a scale and speed rarely attempted in U.S. power development.
Fermi is assembling the engineering, construction, and commercial teams needed to take this project from FEED through commercial operation, alongside the broader corporate functions required to run a company of this ambition.
This is a build phase: headcount is scaling quickly across highly technical and highly specialized roles, and the company needs a talent acquisition leader who can build the hiring function while the org is still being formed.
Role Overview:
The Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition will own full-cycle hiring across all of Fermi's workforce, spanningconstruction , financial , commercial, and other core business teams. This person will build and run the recruiting engine for a fast-scaling energy infrastructure company — setting process, managing requisitions, partnering directly with hiring managers on specialized and often hard-to-fill roles, and building the pipeline infrastructure (ATS, sourcing channels, agency/vendor relationships) needed to hire at pace.
This role is a strong fit for someone who has led talent acquisition inside a construction, energy, manufacturing, industrial, or infrastructure company and is comfortable operating without a fully built-out TA function yet — someone who wants to build the playbook, not just execute one.
