A leading global manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning critical pieces of the financial close, reporting, and audit processes. The position offers a hybrid schedule with three in-office days each week.
What You'll Do:
Lead monthly account reconciliations, variance analysis, and balance sheet trend reviews
Prepare financial reports and monitor key accounts for exposure or irregularities
Research and resolve discrepancies while ensuring accuracy across the ledger
Support month-end close, financial transmission, and backup testing
Participate in inventory counts, fixed asset audits, and internal/use-tax audit support
Contribute to special projects and process improvements across the accounting function
Maintain compliance with US GAAP and internal policies
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3+ years of relevant experience
Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to research authoritative guidance
Advanced Excel skills
CPA preferred
Prior audit experience with a regional or national public accounting firm is a plus
Strong initiative, analytical skills, and the ability to propose solutions
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities
Spanish proficiency is a bonus
