Apply for this role →Full Time Commissary & Facility Support Associate TurnKey Corrections is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Full Time Commissary & Facility Support Associate to support daily operations within a correctional facility in Kansas City, Missouri. This position is responsible for assisting with commissary distribution and warehouse activities, customer service, and basic equipment troubleshooting. Storage is provided on-site, and products are delivered directly to the facility. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and capable of working independently or collaboratively with a small team. A comprehensive background check is required for employment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Distribute commissary products to detainees in accordance with company and facility procedures.
- Respond to and resolve detainee inquiries and issues related to commissary operations.
- Receive and organize deliveries.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including order preparation.
- Complete basic computer-based tasks and data entry as required.
- Troubleshoot and assist with the maintenance of on-site equipment, including: Computers
- Network hub devices
- KiosksVending equipment
- Navigate and work across multiple software platforms and company systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
One year of warehouse, inventory, or related experience.
Basic computer knowledge and proficiency
Physical Requirements:
Frequently standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms.
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
Ability to work in a correctional facility environment while adhering to all facility policies and security procedures
