Key responsibilities:
Deliver engaging online instruction for the Introduction to Oceanography course
Facilitate virtual discussions and applied exercises to enhance student understanding of oceanographic principles
Manage course materials and student communication effectively in a fully remote environment
Required qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in Oceanography, Marine Science, Environmental Science, or a related field
Prior teaching experience in higher education, preferably in an online format
Proficiency in using Canvas and other online learning management systems
Experience with oceanographic field techniques and remote teaching methodologies
Strong organizational skills and ability to engage students in a virtual setting
