Journeyman TIG/MIG Welder We are seeking a skilled Journeyman TIG/MIG Welder for to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques, particularly TIG/MIG welding, and will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel. The TIG/MIG Welder will work closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
Key Responsibilities: Perform TIG/MIG welding on various materials, ensuring precision and high-quality results. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements. Set up welding equipment and adjust settings for optimal performance. Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to achieve project goals. Troubleshoot and resolve welding issues as they arise. Keep accurate records of work completed, including time spent and materials used.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification in welding preferred. Proven experience as a TIG.MIG Welder, with a strong portfolio of completed work. 5 + years of experience in the as a MIG/TIG welder Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with welding safety standards and best practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform welding tasks effectively. Ability to work in various conditions, including outdoor environments and confined spaces.
