Key Responsibilities: Classroom Support: Assist Lead Teachers in implementing lesson plans and daily classroom activities using the Wonder of Learning® curriculum Child Engagement: Actively participate in guiding and supporting children's learning, play, and exploration Classroom Environment: Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom Family Communication: Support positive communication with families regarding children's daily experiences Health & Safety: Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities while following licensing & Goddard Safety Standards. Professional Growth: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities Team Collaboration: Work closely with Lead and support staff to create a positive and cohesive classroom environment Behavior Guidance: Support positive guidance strategies to promote social-emotional development Performed other duties as assigned
Qualifications: High school diploma required; Early Childhood Education Associates preferredCDA credential preferred, or willingness to pursue an ECE Initial Certificate or equivalent as approved and verified in the electronic workforce registry. Commitment to complete 30 hours of STARS training prior to start date Completion of Safe Sleep training prior to start date Current First Aid/CPR certification prior to start date Food Handler's Permit prior to start date Proof of TB test clearance and MMR vaccination verification Ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with children, families, and staff Ability to lift up to 50 lbs in connection with the care and supervision of children Join UsIf you are a nurturing and enthusiastic educator looking for a supportive and rewarding workplace, we invite you to apply.
