Technical/Professional - Buyer/Procurement Analyst

Responsibilities: Source, plan, and coordinate the movement of raw materials, components, and finished goods through the production lifecycle. Analyze engineering and production specifications to determine procurement requirements and build effective schedules. Serve as the go-to GSC planning contact for assigned programs, supporting proposal development and presenting performance metrics to leadership. Operate and manage multiple Excel-based reports to track team and supplier performance. Partner with product teams, logistics, warehouse, and finance to ensure timely procurement, delivery, and issue resolution. Lead communications for urgent procurement needs, expedite purchase orders, and manage material delivery timelines. Resolve procurement blockages, frustrated materials, and accounts payable issues with cross-functional teams. Cultivate advanced vendor and supplier relationships to support business objectives and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience: Minimum 15 years in buyer, procurement, or supply chain analyst roles. Advanced Excel skills (including V-lookups and data analysis). Proven track record in problem-solving and critical thinking within procurement or supply chain environments. Strong project management, time management, and multi-tasking abilities. Experience presenting to leadership and preparing performance metrics. Effective cross-functional communication skills.

Preferred Skills: Prior experience supporting program kick-offs, configuration control, and program assessment meetings. Demonstrated success managing competing priorities across diverse business areas. Familiarity with resolving invoicing and accounts payable discrepancies.
