Salesforce Release Manager SOW

Duration: 6 months to start, potential to extend

Location: Remote

Rate: $8.8k per month SOW ContractIT Release ManagerIT Professional with 3-6 years of IT Release Management experience working in an enterprise software development environment. The IT Release Manager at Salesforce is accountable for driving and coordinating Salesforce enterprise IT project releases and regular Keep-the-Light-On (KLO) releases. This role requires a program management mindset, focusing on the end-to-end lifecycle of delivery, cross-functional alignment, and the strategic timing of features to meet business goals. The IT Release Manager will work closely with IT development, operations, and leadership teams to ensure high-quality, predictable application releases.

Job Duties: Drive the planning and delivery of high-quality enterprise IT software releases while ensuring alignment with broader business roadmaps. Plan and manage release schedules, milestones, and inter-program dependencies to prevent resource conflicts across the portfolio. Proactively identify and mitigate program-level risks and develop contingency plans to ensure release stability and remove obstacles. Facilitate releases of varying size and complexity by coordinating across multiple workstreams to ensure technical and non-technical stakeholders are in sync. Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations to address their needs while maintaining strict adherence to governance and control processes. Communicate complex plans and statuses to diverse audiences, providing executive-level summaries and escalating issues with proposed solutions. Skill Requirements: Self-starter with a strong ability to drive complex tasks and program milestones to completion independently. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage the \"big picture\" while maintaining attention to technical detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack for translating technical release data into business impact. Proven ability to improve and maintain new and existing SDLC processes to increase delivery velocity. Expertise with Slack and Google Docs. Experience working within a Salesforce org as an end user.

Minimum Experience Requirements: Experience working with technology and implementations for Salesforce.com.3-6 years of IT Release Management experience in an enterprise IT application development environment, preferably with exposure to Project or Program Management frameworks.

Preferred Requirements: Salesforce Certified (Admin or Developer).
