About the Role:
My client's investments team is growing, and they're looking for an ambitious Director of Asset Management to join their Atlanta office. This is a strong fit for an asset manager with 5-8 years of experience who wants to broaden their exposure to real estate private equity.
What You'll Do:
Manage industrial assets end-to-end, including tenant support, written reports, record keeping, updating tech platforms, and tenant relations
Lead the leasing process, including market analysis, comparative analysis, and negotiations
Lead transaction analysis and due diligence for new acquisitions, and onboard new properties
Review and approve industrial appraisals and operating budgets, including rental rates, discounted cash flows, and capital work
Schedule routine maintenance, coordinate maintenance technicians and construction schedules, and prepare bid proposals, service contracts, and invoices
Build analytical tools that help leadership understand portfolio performance and streamline workflows
Support lease administration, including tenant contacts, insurance tracking, collections, and property inspections
Prepare and code invoices for approval, and assist with accounts receivable and payable
Assist with monthly and quarterly investor reporting
What You'll Bring 5-8 years of experience as an asset manager in industrial or commercial real estate
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills
Knowledge of finance concepts and the ability to read and understand financial statements
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
High learning agility and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter mindset: you drive projects to completion and find the information and resources you need
Professionalism when working with decision makers, with respect for confidentiality
Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time
Personal and professional integrity of the highest order
