Onsite Support Engineer Data & ETL Platform (Investments)

Key Responsibilities: Provide onsite support for data integration and data warehouse applications. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to ETL processes and data pipelines. Analyze data quality issues and perform root cause analysis. Support daily, weekly, and monthly batch processing activities. Coordinate with business users, offshore teams, and vendors to resolve issues promptly. Validate data loads and perform reconciliation between source and target systems. Monitor job scheduling and workflow execution using Control-M. Perform SQL-based data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting. Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts to automate support activities. Ensure compliance with SLA commitments and incident management processes. Support release deployments, validation, and post-deployment activities. Prepare operational documentation, support runbooks, and incident reports. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve data quality and operational efficiency. Required

Skills and Qualifications: ETL and Data Integration Experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). Strong understanding of ETL development and production support. Familiarity with Neoxam DataHub is preferred. Data Engineering and Analytics Experience with Databricks. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts. Experience with data analysis, validation, and reconciliation. Intermediate to advanced SQL skills. Scheduling and Monitoring Hands-on experience with Control-M job scheduling. Experience with batch monitoring and workflow management. Operating Systems and Scripting Unix/Linux administration knowledge. Strong Unix shell scripting skills. Production Support Experience with incident and problem management. Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of change and release management. Experience with application monitoring and production operations.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in investment management or asset management. Exposure to insurance or capital markets. Experience handling financial data processing and reconciliation. Familiarity with investment data platforms and related business processes.
