What You Will Do:
- Direct and oversee daily payroll operations
- Lead and support payroll staff
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
- Maintain compliance with federal and state payroll laws
- Support union contract payroll administration
- Maintain payroll records and reporting systems
- Assist Human Resources and Accounting with payroll reporting and data requests
- Support benefit administration oversight
- Help guide Human Resources operations in the absence of HR leadership when needed
- What You Will Bring
- Payroll leadership experience
- Healthcare payroll experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage confidentiality with professionalism and integrity
- Knowledge of payroll compliance and reporting requirements
- Experience working in unionized environments preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting preferredCPP or FPC certification preferred or expected
