Benefits: Parade is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a leading architecture and design studio in New York City for an accomplished Senior Architectural Designer. This is an opportunity to join a highly creative, multidisciplinary practice known for sophisticated, concept-driven projects across hospitality, cultural, entertainment, and experiential design. The ideal candidate combines exceptional design sensibility with the technical knowledge and leadership ability to take ambitious projects from concept through execution.
Responsibilities: Lead and contribute to complex architecture and interior architecture projects from concept through construction documentation. Translate conceptual ideas into thoughtful, highly resolved architectural solutions. Develop plans, elevations, details, millwork, custom elements, and comprehensive drawing packages. Coordinate with project leadership, interior designers, consultants, contractors, fabricators, and clients. Guide and mentor intermediate and junior designers within a collaborative studio environment. Participate in client presentations, design reviews, consultant coordination, and project meetings. Maintain design intent while responding to technical, budgetary, scheduling, and constructability considerations. Review drawings and documentation for design consistency, accuracy, and quality. Contribute to material, finish, detailing, and fabrication decisions throughout the project.
Qualifications: Professional degree in Architecture or related discipline. Approximately 8–15 years of relevant professional experience. Exceptional portfolio demonstrating sophisticated design and built work. Significant experience with hospitality, restaurant, cultural, entertainment, luxury residential, or other highly designed experiential projects preferred. Strong understanding of architectural detailing, construction documentation, materials, millwork, and fabrication. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit and Rhino highly valued. Ability to move comfortably between conceptual design and technical execution. Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external consultants. Compensation
Base salary: $125,000–$145,000, commensurate with experience, plus bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.
