Apply for this role (opens in a new tab)To support a locally owned in-home care agency, a Missouri Licensed Accountant will manage the books on a contract basis, working remotely for approximately 10 to 15 hours per month, including tasks such as monthly reconciliations and financial reporting.
Key responsibilities:
Close the books in QuickBooks Online each month, including bank and credit card reconciliations
Prepare a monthly profit and loss statement and review it with the owners
Follow up on client invoices and ensure payroll and tax filings are accurateRequired qualifications 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience for small businesses
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Experience with payroll processing using Gusto or a similar platform
Residency in Missouri
A clean criminal background, subject to a background check
