This position is hybrid and based out of our New York City office reporting to the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and execute 5-10 live events per year with attendees ranging from 50-200, responsibilities to include: Source venues and vendors Negotiate contracts Prepare BEOs and order appropriate AVOrder signage, supplies, prepare Power Points Work with committees and volunteers Proof marketing materials Monitor expenses; review and submit invoices, reconcile budget Prepare and assemble badges Prepare post-event recap Provide on-site support at larger conferences ranging from 1,000-10,000 attendees as needed Manage general team operations such as updating calendars and processing credit card authorizations Provide general administrative support to VP and Senior Manager as needed

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or related field preferred Up to 2 years professional experience planning in-person, small-scale events and providing administrative support for events and conferences preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong computer skills including: MS Office 365, Adobe, Concur
