Location: US, Chicago
The Client: TSP Search are seeking an experienced development professional to join our IPP client to lead on project development and origination across MISO & PJM, whilst cultivating the development strategy and helping scale the current development team. The ideal candidate will have a broad skill set across the entire project development lifecycle bringing projects to NTP, with a wide range of commercial, technical, project management and industry knowledge. This will be an experienced renewable energy project developer who can lead on projects independently and manage 3rd party consultants. Direct experience with utility-scale project development is a hard requirement.
Responsibilities:
- 9 + years of renewable energy industry experience in a development role, with a great track record of full lifecycle energy project development
- Excellent understanding of project development in the multiple energy markets particularly across the Mid-West.
- Technical understanding of Wind, PV or Battery Storage projects
- Understanding of project finance, budgeting and financial analysis
