Interventional Radiology Physician

LocumJobsOnline seeks an Interventional Radiology Locum Physician for a hospital-based assignment in Bismarck, ND. In this role, you will provide image-guided interventional procedures, perform diagnostic reads, and support inpatient and outpatient services. Responsibilities include pre- and post-procedure evaluations, collaborating with referring providers, participating in call coverage, and ensuring high-quality, safe patient care. Work with a collaborative, service-oriented staffing team that prioritizes responsiveness, reliable scheduling, and strong provider support throughout your assignment. Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures and image-guided therapies in a hospital setting Interpret diagnostic imaging studies and provide timely, accurate reports Conduct pre- and post-procedure patient evaluations and manage peri-procedural care Participate in on-call and emergent coverage for interventional and diagnostic radiology services Collaborate with referring physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to coordinate patient care plans Document all procedures, assessments, and orders in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) accurately and promptly Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and hospital quality/compliance standards Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding procedures, risks, and follow-up care Work with LocumJobsOnline team to ensure smooth onboarding, scheduling, and credentialing for the assignment Interventional radiology procedures Diagnostic radiology interpretation Fluoroscopy and CT-guided interventions Ultrasound-guided procedures Radiation safety and dose management Pre- and post-procedure patient management Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation On-call and emergency coverage Multidisciplinary care coordination Quality and compliance in a hospital setting Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active MD or DO license Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology ACLS certification BLS certification DEA registration ND medical license (or ability to obtain)
