Historical data exists in client's current accounting systems and is sent to front office trading and portfolio management teams, stored in a legacy database. The legacy database is scheduled to be retired, and front office teams will receive data from the new strategic data warehouse ("SBS").
Responsibilities:
- Analyze data stored in the legacy database and compare it to strategic systems of record
- Identify and document gaps between: Historical data in legacy DBStrategic data model
- Data available in legacy accounting systems
- Triage gaps and work with front office to understand criticality
- Provide solutions for gaps using data generated by the strategic operating model
Required Skills:
- Strong Business Analyst skills
- Experience with data analysis and data lineage
- Familiarity with asset management / investment data sets (positions, transactions, associated attributes)
- Ability to present well to client
- Self-starter, individually motivated, quick learner
