Commercial Outside Flooring Sales

Location: SAN FRANCISCO, CAWHO WE AREThird generation, family owned, installing commercial flooring across the Bay Area since 1981. Our own 16,000 square foot warehouse in San Francisco. Carpet, resilient, hardwood, LVT, tile and specialty surfaces across new construction, renovation and tenant improvement. Our work is in SF State, SFO and the Presidio Trust. We hold LBE, SBE and WBE certifications, which carry a bid preference on public contracts.

MUST HAVE: A C15 license. WHAT YOU GET TO SELL WITH• A written guarantee. We are launching an on time, in scope, on budget guarantee backed by our own profit. If we miss, we give it back. It changes the conversation with a GC who has been burned before.• Inbound leads. We run Google search ads and Local Services Ads. Most of our competitors run neither. You work that flow alongside the pipeline you build.• Support behind you. An experienced estimating and operations team. You are not bidding alone and you are not chasing your own installs.• Direct access to ownership. You work with our President and our General Manager. Decisions take days, not weeks.• A seat you define. You are the first. How you run this job becomes how the job gets run here.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: • Open new commercial accounts. Calls, site visits, email, Linked In and jobwalks.• Work inbound leads fast. Speed to first contact is a number we track.• Build relationships with general contractors, developers, property managers, architects, designers and facility owners.• Measure, specify and build competitive bids with our estimating team. Present, negotiate and close.• Hand off cleanly to project management and installation so the job lands the way you sold it.• Keep your pipeline current in Floor Zap. We will train you on it.• Write down what works so the next rep does not start from zero. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU• Commercial flooring sales experience. This one is required.• A record of opening accounts, not only holding them. Be ready to name a project you started from a cold contact.• You can read a plan set, scope a job and defend your number.• Comfortable on the road alone most days, and disciplined about follow up and records.• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
