Work Environment: Located in the serene neighborhood of West McLean, Virginia, our rehabilitation center provides an onsite, collaborative atmosphere where our physical therapy team works closely with other health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient wellness. The typical work schedule is from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. This structured environment allows for focused patient care and meaningful interactions with clients, significantly impacting their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities: Assess and treat patients through individualized plans designed to help them achieve specific goals related to mobility and physical performance. Manage a balanced patient caseload while offering dedicated attention to each individual, ensuring high-quality care. Apply your knowledge in orthopedic outpatient care by utilizing evidence-based therapies and manual techniques to facilitate recovery. Design and implement comprehensive treatment strategies that promote non-surgical options, reducing the need for invasive procedures or medications. Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation to foster a positive and empowering treatment experience. Document all services provided accurately using electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to share insights and contribute to a cohesive treatment approach for patients. Patient Population / Client FocusOur rehabilitation center serves diverse populations, primarily focusing on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. We aim to empower our clients not just physically but also psychologically, as we understand the emotional components of injury recovery. By providing tailored fitness and wellness programs, we address the specific requirements of each patient, fostering their autonomy and encouraging proactive health management.

Qualifications: Hold an active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, free of sanctions or board proceedings. Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with a strong foundation in evidence-based practices. Demonstrate a mastery of various manual therapy modalities and techniques. Capable of creating and implementing effective exercise programs that cater to individual patient needs. Experience with EMR software, such as Web PT, for maintaining thorough and accessible patient records. Stay informed on current physical therapy trends and techniques supported by research to enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience: A proven track record of success in outpatient orthopedic settings is advantageous. Experience working within a sports medicine context may enhance treatment efficacy. Prior experience with patient education and designing wellness programs tailored to specific conditions.

Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and expertise.
