Apply for this role →We’re partnering with a highly respected global investment organization to add an Investor Services Associate to its growing Investor Operations team in Charlotte. This is a newly created role for someone who enjoys working directly with investors and taking ownership of complex onboarding processes from start to finish. You’ll work with private and institutional investors, manage subscription and KYC/AML documentation, coordinate with internal teams, and help ensure each investor moves smoothly through the onboarding and closing process. What You’ll DoInvestor Services & Onboarding Manage investor onboarding processes from initial engagement through documentation, approval, funding, and closing. Serve as a primary point of contact for investors throughout the onboarding process. Coordinate subscription documentation, investor questionnaires, tax documentation, AML/KYC requirements, and other onboarding materials. Maintain accurate investor, entity, and account information across internal systems and onboarding platforms. Track outstanding documentation, resolve issues, and keep onboarding processes moving toward key deadlines. Manage multiple investor onboarding workflows simultaneously while maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail. Communicate regularly with investors regarding status, outstanding items, next steps, and potential delays. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Legal, Compliance, Fund Administration, Business Development, Client Relations, Accounting, and other internal teams to facilitate successful investor onboarding. Coordinate with external administrators, AML/KYC providers, and third-party onboarding vendors. Participate in onboarding status meetings and communicate progress, dependencies, outstanding items, and potential risks. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth investor experience. Technology & Process Improvement Manage investor onboarding workflows through digital subscription and onboarding platforms such as Anduin, SUBSCRIBE, Goji, or comparable systems. Maintain onboarding trackers, dashboards, reporting, and accurate investor data across systems. Help investors and internal stakeholders navigate onboarding technology and digital platforms. Identify opportunities to improve workflows, strengthen controls, and increase efficiency. Support process improvements involving automation, data tools, system enhancements, integrations, and scalable onboarding procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree required; Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.3–7+ years of experience in investor services, client services, fund operations, client onboarding, fund administration, asset management, or a related financial services environment.
Experience working directly with investors or clients and managing financial documentation or onboarding processes.
Strong understanding of AML/KYC, due diligence, subscription documentation, or related compliance processes is highly preferred.
Experience with alternative investments, private equity, private credit, hedge funds, institutional investors, or fund administration is a strong plus.
Ability to independently manage multiple processes, competing priorities, and time-sensitive deadlines.
Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow through and keep complex processes moving.
Experience with CRM, investor onboarding, subscription, or workflow platforms is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
