Join Us At Oklahoma Blood Institute Oklahoma Blood Institute is actively seeking qualified candidates for a rewarding position that is responsible for successfully manufacturing blood and blood components. Considered applicants must have a high school diploma, transcript, or GED. A successful candidate must be on-time, reliable, a good communicator, detail oriented, and work well with others. This position requires candidates to have reliable transportation, a working telephone, the ability to stand for long periods of time, and the ability to lift 50 lbs regularly. Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Pay: $15.00-$20.00 an hour or based on education and/or experience plus shift differential and holiday pay

Days: Tuesday through Saturday
Hours: 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (EVENINGS)
Position To successfully manufacture blood and blood component.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Good communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Problem solving ability
  • Ability to work well with people
  • Computer skills preferred
  • Some moderate lifting required
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture blood and blood components
  • Prepare blood and blood components for labeling
  • Label blood and blood components
  • Triage whole blood according to inventory needs
  • Manufacture apheresis red blood cells
  • Perform maintenance of equipment as appropriate
  • Maintain cleanliness of the manufacturing labBPS and Reference Lab orders
  • Take SOPs as appropriate
