Overview:
In this role you will design and configure SAP Production Planning and Quality Management processes, shaping deployment in manufacturing environments. You will collaborate with business users to translate needs into backlog and system enhancements, ensuring timely releases and robust interfaces with ERP, MES and PLM components. You will drive problem resolution, documentation, and cross-team coordination to support production deployments. This position focuses on delivering reliable SAP solutions that enable efficient planning, quality control, and forecasting in a manufacturing context.
Responsibilities:
- Design and configure SAP ECC Production Planning and Quality Management transactions
- Analyze, design, and test enhancements to SAP applications
- Engage with business users to communicate capability and build a backlog
- Identify, track and resolve issues and risks
- Design system specifications and interfaces (ERP, MES & PLM)
- Develop apps to meet functional and technical standards
- Support deployment of application releases into production
- Create operational documentation
- Meet service commitments and provide status updates
- Collaborate with IT peers, service providers, and Bell customers
- Resolve production problems quickly and effectively
- Key requirements6–8 years of experience in SAP Production Planning and Quality Management
- At least one full-cycle SAP implementation in Production Planning/Quality Management
- Experience in manufacturing or Aerospace & Defense industries
- Strong understanding of MRP, IBP (Integrated Business Planning) and forecasting
- Excellent stakeholder communication
- Problem-solving and proactive issue management
