Today, we continue to grow our portfolio and expand how we partner with clinicians, health systems, and healthcare organizations. Clinical Affairs will play a major role in what comes next for the organization. Medtrition is looking for an exceptional clinical nutrition leader to join our team as the Director of Clinical Affairs. This is not a traditional clinical nutrition role. You won’t be several layers removed from the decisions. You’ll work across the organization and help shape how Medtrition approaches clinical nutrition as we continue to grow. We’re looking for someone who is curious, commercially savvy, scientifically grounded, comfortable challenging conventional thinking, and energized by turning ideas into action. The opportunity: As Director of Clinical Affairs, you will be Medtrition’s senior clinical voice and help lead the clinical and scientific strategy behind our portfolio. You’ll work at the intersection of clinical practice, research, product innovation, education, and commercialization, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Regulatory, leadership, customers, and key opinion leaders. Your work could influence everything from how a product is positioned and studied to how it becomes incorporated into a hospital protocol or system-wide standard of care. What you’ll lead. You’ll have the opportunity to: Shape clinical strategy for Medtrition’s portfolio, including Nutri Connect, our ENFit-compatible modular protein and fiber, high protein Gelatein, Expedite Wound Nutrition, Café Puree, Café Minced IDDSI levels 4 and 5 for the dysphagia diets and future innovations. Turn science into action - helping Sales and Marketing translate clinical evidence into meaningful education, tools, programs, and customer strategies. Drive adoption and standardization by identifying barriers to utilization and helping integrate Medtrition solutions into protocols, pathways, order sets, formularies, and health-system standards of care. Build Medtrition’s clinical evidence strategy, identifying evidence gaps and helping develop clinical studies, quality-improvement initiatives, case reports, abstracts, posters, publications, and other research. Partner with leading clinicians and KOLs across nutrition, critical care, nursing, wound care, and related specialties while expanding Medtrition’s involvement with organizations such as ASPEN, AACN, and SCCM.Influence product innovation by bringing the voice of clinicians and patients into product development and identifying unmet needs that could become future Medtrition solutions. Build clinical education for healthcare professionals and Medtrition team members through presentations, webinars, continuing education, peer-to-peer programs, and professional meetings. Serve as the clinical voice of the customer, bringing insights from the field directly into Medtrition’s product development, commercialization, education, and strategic planning. Who we’re looking for This role is for someone who is clinically credible but also wants to operate beyond the walls of the hospital. You may be a Clinical Nutrition Manager, nutrition-support leader, clinical educator, industry professional, or accomplished RDN who is ready for a larger platform. You should be comfortable discussing the science with a dietitian one moment and working with sales, marketing or executive leadership the next. The strongest candidates will bring: The Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential Clinical Nutrition Manager experience, advanced credentials such as CNSC, and/or healthcare sales or marketing experience are strong pluses.5+ years of clinical experience, ideally with strong exposure to clinical nutrition, nutrition support, enteral nutrition, critical care, or related areas Strong presentation, education, communication, and relationship-building skills Ability to critically evaluate scientific literature and translate evidence into practice Experience influencing across functions and leading initiatives from concept through executionA desire to understand not just the clinical science, but how great clinical solutions gain adoption in healthcare
