This position will be responsible for leading all maintenance team members on crew and managing company assets to safely maximize machine equipment and its components.\n\nPrimary responsibilities include:\n\nGeneral Responsibilities\n\nFollows and ensures accountability for all necessary regulations (i.e.: GMP, FDA, and ISO)\nMonitors all maintenance work orders and sets crew/shift goals\nCollaborates in planning daily maintenance\nProvide direction and resources as necessary for off shift/afterhours support\nPerforms other duties as necessary when directed to do so\n \n\nCommunication/Collaboration Responsibilities\n\nEnsures proper communications and plans to shift support and crews\nVerifies communication of process changes and quality procedure/specification changes\nSupports the support teams with key initiatives and special projects\n \n\nSafety Leadership\n\nDemonstrates and verifies 100% compliance of safety best practices with team members\nDrives a zero-loss time mentality with team through continuous improvement practices\nAssures personal participation and team verification for 100% compliance of monthly safety audits, Safety Committees, safety observations, LMS training, etc.\n \n\nPeople Leadership\n\nUnderstands and models the values and culture of the company\nServes as a positive team player that works to find solutions and builds team morale\nLeads, coaches and mentors all direct team members and indirect support teams to achieve goals and successful execution of the maintenance plan on the shift\nEmpowers others and models accountability\nBuilds trusting and caring relationships with all team members\nLeads cross-company teamwork and collaboration\nDrives execution on completion of tasks\nCompletes on time, well-written reviews\nProvides continuous feedback to team members\nPartners with Maintenance Manager and Training Department to schedule and support skills training and individual development of team members\nEvaluates/verifies technical skills of team members to identify skill gaps and training needs\n \n\nBusiness Management & Administrative Responsibilities\n\nLeads a robust asset management and housekeeping program\nAssists with developing, distributing, and executing preventative maintenance schedules for equipment. Continuously re-evaluating PM program for optimal efficiency\nAssists with trouble shooting of all machinery, equipment, and components as needed\nAssists with business improvement projects as applicable\nProvides support for line changeovers\nManages events and/or incidents per protocols\nAssists in time and attendance record keeping\nAssists in collecting and publishing maintenance metrics and reports\n \n\nThe ideal candidate should possess the following:\n\n\nMinimum of two years of college courses ()\nMinimum of five years' experience within maintenance role ()\nMinimum of two years of experience in a leadership capacity\nKnowledge and/or experience with CMMS\nExcellent oral and written communication skills, computer skills, and mathematical skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment\nExperience with Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook & Excel)\n \n\nWhat We Offer You\nWe believe that by continuously improving the quality of our benefits, we can help to raise the quality of life for our team members and their families.
