Apply for this role (opens in a new tab)We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join a team in Jackson Heights and Manhattan. This full-time position offers competitive compensation and benefits, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including preventive care, acute illness management, and chronic disease management
- Perform comprehensive health assessments, diagnose health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide patient education and counseling
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current license as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in the state of New York
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
- Minimum of X years of clinical experience as an FNP, preferably in a primary care setting
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
