Tech CT

Job Summary: Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. Performs various imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, ensuring quality and accuracy in imaging.

Responsibilities: Set up and operate CT and other imaging equipment following established protocols. Assess, plan, and implement imaging procedures tailored to patient needs across all age groups. Maintain equipment calibration, perform routine maintenance, and manage supply inventory. Transfer images securely using PACS and teleradiology systems, ensuring timely interpretation. Record accurate patient data and ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards. Follow hospital safety protocols and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Hold an associates degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent experience. Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT and radiography. Possess current State of California Radiologic Technologist license. Maintain current BLS certification from an approved provider. Have advanced certification in CT modality (preferred in CA, required in OR and HI).Demonstrate proficiency in fluoroscopy, venipuncture, and HIPAA compliance.
