This leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys managing teams, improving processes, and driving accurate financial reporting within a complex business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly close and financial reporting processes
- Manage and mentor accounting team members
- Oversee general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and consolidations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
- Partner with finance and operational leaders across the organization
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning efforts
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Previous accounting leadership or management experience
- Strong SAP experience
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Experience with financial reporting, month-end close, and consolidations
- Knowledge of internal controls and compliance requirements
- Experience supporting multiple business units, entities, or locations
- PreferredCPA designation
- Public company experience
- Process improvement and transformation experience
