Senior Mechanical Engineer

The Role: You will be responsible for mechanical and piping systems throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with engineering, procurement, equipment suppliers and construction teams.

Key responsibilities will include: Engineering and design of piping, fluid and mechanical systems Developing and reviewing specifications, calculations, drawings and technical documentation Reviewing piping layouts, equipment designs and vendor documentation Supporting ASME B31.3 process piping design and compliance Providing technical oversight of equipment suppliers and fabrication activities Supporting procurement and technical bid/vendor evaluations Reviewing and supporting FAT/SAT testing Working directly with construction teams to resolve field engineering issues Conducting equipment and system walkdowns during installation Supporting system turnover, testing and commissioning activities Ensuring engineering activities meet applicable quality and regulatory requirements We are interested in experienced mechanical engineers with a strong background in somecombination of: ASME B31.3 Process Piping Piping design and/or stress analysis Fluid and thermal systems Tanks, pressure-containing equipment or mechanical equipmentHVAC or industrial ventilation systems Pumps, valves and associated instrumentation Equipment specification and vendor management Engineering support during construction Quality-controlled or highly regulated engineering environments This is an opportunity to join a well-funded organization at an important stage of project delivery and have direct involvement in taking engineered systems from design through procurement, construction, testing and operation.
