This role focuses on providing patient-centered physical medicine and rehabilitation care for a diverse outpatient population with musculoskeletal and pain-related conditions.
About the Opportunity
Schedule: Part-time (1 to 2 days per week)
Hours: Standard business Setting: Outpatient
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain and rehabilitation needs Provide care for patients with work-related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions Perform or oversee electrodiagnostic testing, including EMG and NCV studies Administer joint and soft tissue injections as part of outpatient treatment plans Document range of motion findings and develop appropriate treatment recommendations
Qualifications:
M.D. or D.O. degree Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation through ABPMRExperience with Joint and Soft Tissue Injections Experience writing prescriptions
Desired Skills:
Experience in an Outpatient Musculoskeletal practice Competency in performing or monitoring EMG and NCV testing Experience documenting range of motion with a handheld goniometer
