Schedule: Overnight Shift | 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM (24/7/365 operational environment)
About the Role: Are you a media graduate, digital content creator, or A/V enthusiast looking to break into the television and broadcast industry? We are looking for a detail-oriented Master Control Operator to join our team at our Network Operations Center in Centennial, CO!In this role, you will act as the "air traffic controller" for television programming. You’ll work behind the scenes in a high-tech environment—monitoring live feeds, executing commercial breaks, and ensuring top-notch audio and video quality across 150+ TV channel streams. No prior Master Control experience? No problem! We are ready to train motivated candidates with a background in media, communications, or live video production. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge broadcast automation software (SNELL Morpheus, Amagi) while supporting our major 2026 network migration project.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor Live TV Feeds: Simulate the viewer experience across 150+ channels, checking for clear picture, proper audio, and accurate closed captioning. Manage On-Air Playlists: Execute program and commercial changes using industry-leading broadcast automation tools (SNELL Morpheus, Amagi).Commercial Integration: Ensure flawless execution of commercial breaks during both taped and live programming. Catch Discrepancies: Act as the last line of defense against black screens, audio drops, or graphic glitches. Team Collaboration: Support on-air operations during our 2026 systems migration, participating in rehearsals, event preparation, and playlist execution.
What We’re Looking For: Education/Experience: High School Diploma + relevant certification/Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Communications, Film/TV Production, Broadcasting, Journalism, or equivalent hands-on media experience (AV tech, live streaming, campus TV/radio).Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for catching small errors in video, audio, and broadcast timing. Calm Under Pressure: Ability to stay composed, focused, and make quick decisions when unexpected technical glitches happen. Night Owl Readiness: Willing and available to work a dedicated 3rd-shift schedule (9:00 PM – 5:00 AM) in a 24/7/365 environment, including weekends and holidays.
Location: Must live within commuting distance of Centennial, CO (100% onsite role).
