Envelope Machine Adjuster Responsibilities: Make proper size changes and adjustments to all assigned machines in accordance with estimated change times; obtain approval from lead adjuster or supervisor on start-up of new orders Monitor assigned machines and performance of operators to ensure quality (folding, gumming, printing, count, packaging, etc.) and run speed standards are being met Troubleshoot operating difficulties, analyze machine operations and make necessary mechanical adjustments to eliminate quality variations and mechanical malfunctions Provide training and assistance to coworkers, including other adjusters Ensure change parts are cleaned and returned to assigned areas at completion of order Perform minor machine maintenance and assist maintenance team with major repairs and/or machine moves Monitor machine shutdowns, where applicable, to ensure proper cleaning Requirements for Envelope Machine Adjuster: High school diploma or GEDPrevious experience within a manufacturing setting; paper and/or converting industry experience preferred Experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining envelope converting equipment (FL Smithe or W+D) preferred; printing experience highly preferred Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler Excellent mechanical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Basic computer skillsQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
