Operations Manager

What You’ll Do: Direct and optimize production operations to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, production, and service. Develop and implement improved processes with a focus on safety, quality, and cost. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using tools like 5 Whys, Kaizen and fishbone diagrams. Monitor KPIs, anticipate trends, and adjust plans to meet targets. Drive strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation. Facilitate improvement planning sessions and ensure measurable outcomes. Promote a culture of safety and GMP compliance through servant leadership in a continuous operations facility.

What We’re Looking For: Servant leader with experience managing 250+ employees in a manufacturing environment. Strong decision-making skills grounded in data analysis and financial acumen. Operational Excellence experience and familiarity with root cause analysis tools. SAP experience highly preferred. Ability to lead multi-shift or continuous operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications: High school diploma with 8+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience ORBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field with 5+ years of leadership experience. Experience managing department managers across functional areas. Knowledge of planning, budgeting, cost analysis, and resource allocation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management.

Preferred: Experience in plastics processing or packaging industries.
