Global Forwarding Coordinator

Responsibilities: Prepare and submit Automated Export System (AES) filings accurately and on time. Review shipping documentation to ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations. Validate commodity classifications, shipment values, quantities, and destination information. Research and resolve filing discrepancies, shipment holds, and documentation issues. Communicate with customers, carriers, internal teams, and government agencies regarding export requirements. Track and trace shipments from origin through final delivery. Generate and maintain shipment records, documentation, and customer reports. Monitor export transactions to ensure compliance with Customs, Census Bureau, and AES regulations. Support audits, reporting activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform load audits and ensure customer data accuracy and integrity. Assist with shipment inquiries, issue resolution, and operational support. Follow customer SOPs, regulatory requirements, and company standards. Maintain organized records and documentation. Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED.Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and verbal).Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment. Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, export operations, or a related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience supporting international shipping or export compliance processes. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines effectively.
