Apply for this role →SS121 Planetary ScientistADNET Systems is currently looking for a full-time Planetary Scientist. The successful candidate will provide the Solar System Exploration Division at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD, with support for Artemis Science. The candidate will support Artemis science integration by assisting with the development of Artemis mission science planning and science operations content for both orbital and surface mission phases. This work will include, but is not limited to, developing orbital and surface mission planning and operations documents, developing and testing a team structure for Artemis science operations teams, developing mission simulation plans and associated scripting and science content, developing a training and certification flow for Artemis science team members supporting real-time mission operations, supporting mission simulations and mission preparatory exercises, supporting Artemis missions in science operations roles, and supporting document writing and reviews. Travel will be required as needed and will be supported.
Requirements:
PhD Degree in Planetary Physics.1-3 years Lunar/planetary mission experience (planning, research, and/or operations team training)US Citizenship or Permanent Residency (LPR) required, with US residency for the past 3 consecutive years.
