What you’ll do: Lead, coach, and develop Manufacturing Engineers and technical staff Build a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement Design, standardize, and optimize manufacturing processes for quality, efficiency, and cost Lead manufacturing engineering for new product launches and engineering changes Own APQP deliverables, including PFMEA, control plans, and process flow diagrams Specify, source, install, validate, and commission equipment, tooling, and automation Advance automation, robotics, PLCs, and Industry 4.0 solutions in assembly Partner with Product Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Maintenance on launches, reliability, and defect reduction Track and improve OEE, cycle time, throughput, scrap, and related metrics Support IATF 16949 / ISO compliance, audits, and corrective action
What you’ll bring: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in automotive (Tier 1 preferred)Experience leading a team of engineers Hands-on knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and control plans Proficiency with CAD and manufacturing simulation tools Working knowledge of automation, robotics, PLCs, and Industry 4.0 technologies
