Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Summary: Performs Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic (site specific) purposes under the direction of a physician. Prepares patient, prepares and administers prescribed dose of radioactive pharmaceuticals and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, performs calculations and manipulates data according to established parameters. Ensures proper preparation and/or ordering of radioactive material, calibrates equipment, assures appropriate quality control, monitors patients and performs other duties as assigned. Full-Time/Day Shift - Working Monday- Friday from 8am-4:30pm$6,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by the hospital that begin on your first day of employment.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • Upon hire: Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist OrUpon hire: Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology OrWithin 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
  • Preferred Qualification:2 years of Clinical experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
