We’re seeking someone who has top-notch relationship selling skills as well as an inherent desire to help guests choose to travel with us on a handcrafted trip of a lifetime. (Not required, but bonus points for you and us if you have lived abroad or have solid travel experience.) Our Travel Experience Specialists serve as trusted advisors, helping guests determine which Classic Journeys experience best fits their interests, travel style, activity level, and goals. Through thoughtful conversations, active listening, and consultative sales techniques, you will guide guests from initial inquiry through reservation while building long-term relationships that inspire repeat travel. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, uncovering needs, providing recommendations, and helping guests make confident travel decisions.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: ·      Build relationships with prospective and returning guests through phone, email, and virtual conversations. ·      Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand travel goals, interests, mobility levels, and preferences. ·      Manage a pipeline of highly qualified inbound inquiries and repeat guest opportunities. ·      Maintain accurate records and follow-up plans in Hub Spot. ·      Provide exceptional responsiveness throughout the booking process. ·      Collaborate closely with Operations, Guest Services, and Marketing to deliver a seamless guest experience. ·      Identify opportunities to increase guest value through additional departures, future travel, and repeat bookings. ·      Consistently achieve individual and team monthly and yearly sales goals. QUALIFICATIONS·      Minimum 2+ years of experience in consultative sales, luxury travel sales, hospitality sales, or another relationship-driven sales environment. ·      Demonstrated ability to build trust and guide customers through a high-value purchase decision. ·      Strong discovery, listening, objection-handling, and relationship-building skills. ·      Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. ·      Experience managing a sales pipeline and maintaining CRM records. ·      Comfortable balancing multiple guest conversations and follow-up activities. ·      Self-motivated and highly organized while working remotely.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: ·      Experience selling luxury travel, adventure travel, cruises, or experiential travel products. ·      Personal international travel experience. ·      Experience using Salesforce and/or Hub Spot. ·      Experience working in a commission-based sales environment. WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKESuccess in this role requires developing a deep understanding of our destinations, itineraries, guest profiles, and consultative sales process. New Travel Experience Specialist should expect a comprehensive onboarding and training period. While most team members begin booking travel immediately, it typically takes several months to fully ramp up and achieve consistent sales performance. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Compensation
Hourly Base Pay: $17.75 per hour with uncapped commission based on sales volume + bonus incentives Expected On-Target Earnings (OTE):o  Estimated earnings for year one is $60,000-$80,000 + per year, o  Increasing to $90,000 + in year two, ando  $120,000+ for experienced colleagues  + Excellent Benefits: Medical Insurance (80% premium paid)                       PTO (112 hours per year)Dental Insurance (80% premium paid)                          Travel Benefits and Discounts Vision Insurance (80% premium paid)                           401K with company match (30% up to $2400)Employee Assistance Program                                         Work-from-home (in USA)Paid Holidays                                                                         HOURS AND LOCATIONThis is a work-from home remote position based in the United States. Work hours are M-F 8am-5pm Pacific Time. Some Saturday hours may be required. This position requires full-time employment of 40 hours per week.
