Part-Time Psychology Professor available and qualified to teach one or more of the following courses: General Psychology Developmental Psychology Social Psychology Psychology of Personal Adjustment Foundations of Research Methods Theories of Personality Abnormal Psychology Educational Psychology Psychology in the WorkplaceDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Commitment to CCRI’s Mission: Demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy and mission of a comprehensive community college. Instructional Skills:
Plan, develop, present, and modify courses from proposal, to syllabus, to delivery (classroom, hybrid, or online), to assessment, to evaluation. Teach assigned courses Convey knowledge and skills effectively to students. Continue professional development as an educator. Use advanced technologies to expand student resources and learning opportunities. Assess student learning according to best practices in measurement of student performance objectives and outcomes. Demonstrate creativity and flexibility in pedagogical approaches to a diverse population of students and peers. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:This position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in Psychology or a related field Teaching Experience Ability to teach in person on one or more of CCRI’s campusesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Specialist or Doctoral degree All requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.
