Senior Test Technician

Senior Test Technician Our client, a leader in advanced microscopy and spectroscopy solutions, is seeking a Senior Test Technician to join their team. As a Senior Test Technician, you will be part of the Material and Structural Analysis Division (MSD) supporting product testing and manufacturing readiness. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills, a quality-first mindset, and the drive to continuously improve processes—so you can help deliver high-performing systems to customers worldwide.

What's the Job? Configure image test and validate Windows-based PCs and computer systems according to established work instructions and product requirements. Install and configure Windows operating systems, drivers, firmware, applications, and product-specific software. Perform PC imaging, re-imaging, cloning, and system recovery activities to keep systems ready for production testing. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, operating system, driver, network, application, and software installation issues; document results and corrective actions. Support continuous process improvement and Lean/5S activities while maintaining configuration control and workplace safety standards. What's Needed? High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or 2-year technical degree in a related technical field preferred.2 years of hands-on experience configuring, testing, repairing, or supporting PCs, servers, or similar computer systems. Experience installing and troubleshooting Windows operating systems, software applications, device drivers, and hardware. Experience with PC imaging, system deployment, cloning, backup, and recovery processes. Strong attention to detail when following technical work instructions and verifying hardware/software revisions; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).What's in it for me?
