North Carolina Licensed Safety Observer

Key responsibilities: Maintain constant virtual observation of assigned patients using telehealth technology Communicate any changes in patients' conditions to nursing staff and document observations in electronic health records Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement and review safety plans for patients in seclusion or restraint

Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; enrollment in nursing or medical programs preferred Experience in an inpatient hospital setting is preferred Listing on the Nurse Aid Registry of North Carolina preferred or initiation of the process within one year of employment BLS certification must be completed by the end of new hire orientation CPI certification is strongly preferred
