Warehouse Associate

Pay: $20-$22/Hr.

Schedule: M-F 8:00AM-5:00PM Responsibility: Follow established guidelines for Day-To-Day shipping and receiving and routine tasks. Ensures customer inquiries are handled in a professional and expeditious manner. Maintains effective communication with other individuals and departments as necessary. Accurately enters all order requests received via telephone, FAX, mail, and email. Verifies all entries for accuracy. Interface with distributors to handle movement of inventory in a professional manner. Process Instruments trays returned back from the field through washing and sterilizing cycles. Verify that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents and order requests. Prepare all shipping documents in a timely and accurate manner. Determine shipping method for inventory, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates. Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies as needed. Contact carrier representative to make arrangements, and issue instructions, for shipping and delivery of materials in a timely manner. Prepare International Shipment and Proforma invoices. Prepare inventory availabilities and transactions excel reports and spreadsheets.

Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with a medical device company, preferably specialized in spinal devices manufacturing. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with DHL, Fed Ex, USPS or any major shipping carrier. Can work independently and to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently. Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with computer systems to include Microsoft Office products, i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel (is a must). Comfortable learning and using Inventory systems. Experience in inventory systems is a PLUS. Must be a detail oriented and a fast learner. Attention to Detail: Accuracy counts. Need to make sure not to miss any details when counting orders and taking stock. Willing to submit to a background check.
