Registered NurseProfession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN Certifications: BLS Must-Have: OR experience as a circulator in all service linesDescription: The unit consists of 18 beds. There are 4 Clinical Nurse Coordinators and 16-18 Registered Nurses on day shift, with varying staff depending on the number of operating rooms in use. Night shift comprises 2 Registered Nurses and 2 surgical techs. The patient ratio is 1:1. A variety of surgical equipment is needed for different case types, including the XI robot. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates should possess strong skills and knowledge, and be able to work at a fast pace. Call and weekend availability are required. All case types are performed except transplants.
