Instrument Technician Under the department leadership, the Instrument Technician is responsible to provide support services in the perioperative setting, including main OR, Short Stay Unit, and the PACU and all other hospital departments. Cleans, assembles equipment, sterilizes and disinfects supplies, instruments, and equipment according to established policies and procedures. Performs material management functions in relation to par levels. Accurately documents the sterilization process. Previous experience in sterile processing or current certification in sterile processing required. High school diploma, G.E.D. required. Completion of a sterile processing course or equivalent work experience in instrument processing required. Certification from HSPA – CRCST or CBSPD – CSPDT required
Assigned Work Hours: Full Time Evening Shift 2pm-10:30PMRotating weekends/ varied shifts.
Position Type: Regular Pay Range (based on years of applicable experience):$37.61 to $50.32 The hours employees work determine when a shift differential is paid. Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $2.17 Hourly Night Shift Differential: $3.26
