Industrial Risk Manageris responsible for the implementation and maintenance of an effective industrial risk management program. They will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with the company's operations. They work closely with other departments in the company to ensure that activities are conducted safely and in compliance with applicable regulations. They are in charge of the integrity management program (safety critical barriers management).Mission

Identify, assess, and mitigate major risks (fire, explosion, pollution and toxicity) associated with the company's operations
Develop and implement an industrial risk management program, including the critical safety barriers
Work closely with other departments in the company to ensure that activities are conducted safely and in compliance with applicable regulations
Provide guidance and training on industrial safety to employees.
Determine action plans required to manage industrial risks
A member of the site Emergency & Crisis Management team
Participate in safety audits across Saft sites in the region
- Manages the Technological Risks process
- Advises Management in their area of expertise.
- Is a member of HSE’s Leadership Team.
- Represent the Site’s Technology Risk management activities vis-à-vis the Saft and Total Energies and authorities (DREAL, Prefecture, EPA, local government agencies, etc.).
- Coordinates inspections, replies and endorses the letters and studies sent in his field (Environment regulation, Group audit, etc.)
- As the site’s reference for technology risk analysis methods, he ensures methodological consistency with the group and business directives.
- Manages process safety risk analyses by ensuring that specialist resources (internal and/or outsourcing) are available and competent. Ensures that the Safety actions of the Priority and Critical Processes with regard to the major accident and/or the maintenance of authorizations are taken into account.
- It develops the methodological skills of its employees and the skills to manage technological risks within the site by organizing the dissemination of best practices and a process safety culture on the platform.
- He is the guarantor of the site safety management system and, together with the relevant HSE department heads, validates the change requests on the Industrial Risk aspect.
- Ensures, with his team, the consistency of the regulatory watch on the Technological Risks aspects.
- It tracks the activity’s budget and validates purchase requests and receipts as part of the Industrial Risk amount.
- It ensures compliance with regulatory deadlines for the delivery of unit hazard studies.
- It proposes the reporting elements to meet the various requirements in its field (regulatory, normative, indicators relevant to the activity, etc.)Asset integiry Management
- Steering and coordination of the implementation of the Group integrity program within the entity
- Identifies processes that ensure the functionality of safety barriers; ensures that these processes are managed by a guarantor, who is responsible for demonstrating that the barriers under their control are working well
- Supports operational teams to properly manage situations where barriers are not functioning as intended, or gate controls have not been executed as planned.
- Participates in the analysis of integrity incidents and anomalies using appropriate methodology
- Conducts internal audits on the integrity program..
- Periodically organizes a steering committee and sector reviews of the integrity of installations.
- Coordinates the process of mapping major risks (integrity threats and level 1 scenarios). Promotion and awareness of facility integrity in the entity
- Builds a culture of integrity by including management, operational teams and guarantors.

Engineering degree or equivalent in safety, environmental, or engineering Experience / requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial risk management
A thorough understanding of applicable industrial safety regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Fluency in English is a must, fluency in French is a plus
Experience in the battery industry
Experience using risk analysis tools
Experience implementing industrial safety programs
